Sometimes it really doesn't matter what the listing says because some of the screeners pull some obscure nonsense of their own understanding of the listing as a reason to return your song(s). I have scored 8's 9's and the occasional 10's only to be returned. Only Carnac the magnificient would be able to read their minds to cast the right song.Andy

I still don't quite get Contemporary, or Crossover Country...it's a Rock or Pop song with the vocalist having a country accent, and maybe a pedal steel guitar, or fiddle, or not...I'm waiting for the latest genres to come out....Country Punk, Contemporary Country Hip Hop, Crossover Country Jazz....and the list goes on....

I remember when they were coined a "cow punk" band. The Refreshments were also called a cowpunk band until someone decided to call them " desert country" giving birth to yet another genre (never heard of another band in that genre so they may have cornered the market LOL)here's a cool old (very funny) Refreshmnets (desert country?)song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IfZbFh7qlCQ

I saw Supersuckers in Seattle in 99.I was visiting my brother and was wondering around downtown one evening and noticed a bunch of people at this laundromat. Music blasting and all, I was thinking what a cool place to do laundry. I walk in and its also a bar. The Sit-N-Spin. In the back was a good sized bar and stage and Supersuckers were tearing the place up!!I saw one hell of a show for FREE!. The door guy looked at me and said "you must be with the band". I just said yeah and he stamped my hand and that was it.Those guys rocked the house! I talked to the Singer Eddie Spaghetti between sets and he was such a cool guy. I was blown away. Id never heard such a blend of musical styles.Anyway, good times...........................M~
