If this is unchecked, the song doesn't appear to the public. If it is checked, the song does. The way to fix your problem is to log in, go to each song, click edit, and check the 'Public' box. Songs should become viewable/listenable then. You'll have to do it one song at a time.Liam

Re: NOT A COMPLAINT BUT A DIFFERENCE OF OPINION
Kango, according to the listing you postedQuote:The Producer for this project will be screening the submissions himselfIf this is the case, then the *producer* found the songs stylistically unsuitable for his artist, which pretty much obviates your "non-complaint" .Btw, people tend to get confused about this...but everybody who screens and critiques at Taxi is assigned a screener number, even if that person is the actual listing client.HTH,matto

MattoIt was obvious to me that it was not the producer, because he/she has no obligation to critique. If he/she likes the songs then they'll just take them. There's no point for them to critique every song submitted (that's the JOB of a taxi screener). Thanx for your input.

Thanx for your input.Kango...I'm sorry to have to tell you that THIS was the first time that your "I'm not pissed at TAXI" argument fell apart. If he agrees to come in to the TAXI offices to do the screening him-/her- self, then that producer MUST go through the same training and follow the same rules as EVERY other TAXI screener. You are wrong, here.If TAXI tells you the ACTUAL producer who made the listing is doing the screening, then that's exactly WHO did do the screening.I understand your confusion about getting 10's and yet still NOT getting the forward, but deciphering the details of the listings is a learned skill that even the best of us are struggling with. and those listings are almost ALWAYS far more specific than we believe them to be.You've gotten a clear answer. Accept it and move on, with the knowledge that you got such enormous props for your tune. It will find a place. This was simply the wrong listing.HTH.Ted

Thanx for your input.Hey Kango, actually Ted is right and it wouldn't be obvious from the review if it was the producer himself. If a Taxi client wants to screen him/herself and agrees to run an "S" listing, they will have to critique the songs just like a regular screener. If they run a "Y" listing they won't.When a listing says "will be screened by the client", then in 90% of the cases that's who will screen it, the only exception being if somehow they end up to busy to do it.You can easily find out if it was the producer, or a regular screener, by calling Robin @ Taxi at the 800 number. She will tell you...That would put an end to the speculation...

I had a listing one time that was screened and critiqued by the producer who placed the listing. It does happen sometimes.-Steve

Thanx for your input.Kango,I gotta disagree. If the producer, artist, or whomever is listed as the reviewer or screener, believe you me they are doing it.This system has too many short comings to interject personal failure to follow a proven method.Besides, the producer may not only be the producer, they may be an artist, a musician, etc. etc. So they are even more informed than we may believe at times.I'd say they did what they said they would.Doc

Re: NOT A COMPLAINT BUT A DIFFERENCE OF OPINION
I dig your music But I have to tell you that they are very particular about listings! It has to be a perfect match to the listing for them to forward you.No matter how awesome your music is.For that reason, I have made a lot of my songs just Instrumentals...or I have sped up the BPM...or instead of a bunch of pop songs I also have orchestral arrangements... Otherwise, just like you said, I could only submit 2-3 times a year We have to be fully prepared with our catalog, and it takes a lot of time but it's worth it in the end Take care of you and I hope that helps a little bit,M
