'Country Roads' Forwards!
Hey -- Just wanted to share some good news-- I got two forwards for the recent Folk-Pop/Rock Song a la John Denver's "Country Roads." After I saw the listing Friday I spent the whole weekend on it, completing one new track (Country Living on My Mind) and a re-tooling of an old piece (Country Time): Country Living on My Mind: http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... rueCountry Time:http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... m=trueI've always been a big John Denver fan. It's my first forward in a few months, and there was some great competition, so I'm feeling happy tonight! Now if the phone would just ring...

You hit the nail good with both whacks. They sound Denverish without tresspassing. Nice work, and congratulations.

Way to go!!Cool to see results from hard work. Keep it up Your tunes definitely deserved the attentionIt was nice chatting with you over the weekend and refreshing to hear of your success. I appreciated your comments. After knowing how many folks submitted to the listing, I realized I had a fairly slim chance with this one, but it was definitely worth the try; they were throwing the bait out there with the price tag!! I wonder how many folks submit stuff to average listings? Anyway, I'll probably keep out of the country genre too and let you guys who know that stuff do what you do. I really have much more experience composing jazz and rock stuff. Thanks and Good Luck
