Hmm. I guess I can't resist. I'll do one (1) recording of a Debussy piano before next Tuesday and throw that into the heap. But...It's gotta be vanity submission, this one! or akin to Irish Sweepstakes. It does sound like a WalMart/lifestyle "World's '000 most famous" so I think whatever goes in has to be at the Moonlight Sonata/Blue Danube level of fame. And also at the level of perfection of a "Cafe music" CD I picked up somewhere. I just wince at the thought of the competition--all those out of contract concert pianists, symphony orchestras etc thrown on the scrapheap by all the major labels. Is DGS still recording classical? Don't think so...But if one aims at perfect, it usually becomes mechanical.So why bother? I already said...vanity! Also a bit of practice too.

Well that bit of practice got nowhere. And the day job is now eating me and taking me far far away into the nevernever so everything will be on hold cos I'll be effectively off the planet until Christmas. Sigh. Still, has its compen$ations.
