And yet another ACTION/ADVENTURE/HIGH OCTANE
Here's my take on the ACTION/ADVENTURE/HIGH OCTANE INSTRUMENTALS listing. Tried ta' give it as much energy as possible. I was thinking car chase all the way. We'll see!ACTION/ADVENTURE/HIGH OCTANE INSTRUMENTALS are needed by a UK-based Production Music Library for Film/TV placement opportunities. They need really high energy tracks (no vocals) for car chase scenes, sports highlights, high suspense action/thrill footage, etc. Current sounding styles would be the best choice here: Rock/Electronica/Hard Rock/etc. A blend of orchestral instrumentation with the mentioned stylistic approaches might also be a great direction to take. They'll be looking for tracks that don't sound overly synth generated - authentic, pulsing and exciting! Your track should be within 1:00-3:00 and they'll mostly want to hear mid to uptempo tracks. Very nice. This quite literally screams car chase.Or NASCAR duel. Or anything else involving fast vehicles and mildly crazy drivers.Great work!

Re: And yet another ACTION/ADVENTURE/HIGH OCTANE
Thanks Devin, Marc, and Flood! Marc, I pulled out a coupla' old pieces of gear, and thought I'd give 'em a go. For the rhythm guitar parts, I'm using a Roland VG-8. And those riffs are working in unison with a slightly distorted bass patch from Trilogy. The lead guitar and harmonics were done using my Edirol UA-700 Audio Capture breakout box. It has the Roland COSM guitar amp modeling technology. So it's got some pretty neat stuff to work with in order to get a decent tone. Unfortunately, I don't think they manufacture those anymore. There is some support on their (Edirol's) website for this particular product, but overall, I think it's been discontinued.I-468

Great sounding stuff man!! I like the upfront drums and the guitar playing is right in the pocket!!My only question is the tempo, to me high octane would be a lot faster, but that's just me, I think you should submit cause it sounds so damn good!!!Way to go!!Mazz
