20 second king o Hill Extravaganza
This was sure a fun listing to try composing for. Wasn't it Mark Twain who said something like "Give me 6 minutes and I'll write 20 pages; give me 6 days and I'll write 2 paragraphs"? or something to that effect. Anyhoo, here's one of my tries at creating 20 seconds of world beat wackyness. Am finishing up vocals on another tomorrow morning.Wee-HAH!In Da World, mon:http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... tream=true ,Suz

I like your structure here with an intro, body and ending - nice bookend, catchy feel, fun, bouncy. To my ears, if you treated the body as an AABA form versus having the same chord progression, it would have been 'mo better...Also, probably a fine line, but I thought the listing said no vocals - the same lines the vocals are using could also be played by a "string" instrument perhaps..but again - love how much "form" you got in, in 20 secs...

Hi Suz,Nice track. My suggestions for consideration:1. Bring up the volume for the intro kalimba and voices to give it more punch... maybe add some intro percussion too. 2. Make the ending a much bigger WOW factor. Big hit at the end with everything going to really go out with a bang, so to speak. Right now it goes back to the soft beginning and sounds like it's getting ready to start over again rather than ending.FWIW,Dave
