CONTEMPORARY ORCHESTRAL INSTRUMENTALS in the POP/R

Post by guest4254 » Tue Apr 22, 2008 6:53 am

CONTEMPORARY ORCHESTRAL INSTRUMENTALS in the POP/ROCK vein Traditional orchestral instruments should be the most prominent, but drum loops and accompanying alternative instruments can be part of the tapestry. The overall sound should be lightly suspenseful, exciting and current sounding. Could anyone please give me an example for this listing? My brain just can't get past Traditional Orchestral instruments sounding like Rock or Pop...I know it's out there, can't put my finger on it...would like to give it a shot...Harry

I can't help ya as I was unsure as well... Its already hard enough to target listings when they give examples.I just pass on ones like this that have too many variables and move on to the next.

Thanks RLD, that's really sage advice. I probably do spend too much time trying to cater to certain listings, only to be disappointed for not being on target enough...though I'm still curious about what would get forwarded here....Harry

Ok, after a more critical listen, and a read of the full listing, I doubt the track I posted is appropriate. Nevermind.

Nice track Tim...picks up nicely when the guitar comes in....would work for another listing. Is there anyone at Taxi that we could send listings back to and ask for a better clarification?Funny thought...give them the same kind of message we get when our songs aren't forwarded, like: "We read your listing carefully, but unfortunately, it didn't make enough sense for listing Y*****. LOL!Harry
