ala Fatboy/X-Games

I having a little bit of trouble with this listing.NEW LISTING -- ENERGETIC DANCE/ELECTRONICA SONGS a la Fatboy Slim, Buzzthrill, Groove Armada, etc. are needed by an Independent Film Production company for an Action/Sports Documentary that will be released late Winter 2008. This film is featuring scale, sport and aerobatic aircraft and is produced by a veteran film producer for sports/action documentaries. The music will be adrenaline-pumping and exciting, as a backdrop for the stunts and visual acrobatics being performed by the aircraft on screen. This producer is really looking for Indie Artists/DJs to feature and may use multiple tracks in the film. The licensing fee is only $100, but there will be the high probability of back-end money through your PRO (Performing Rights Organization) and excellent exposure. There are no limits to lyric content, but the tempo should be upbeat and exciting. For reference, you might want to listen to the music behind the X-Games to get an idea of what he's looking for. Please submit 1-3 songs online or per CD. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI, and must be received by May 2, 2008.i'm not sure if they want songs with or without vocals.. all of the ala groups have vocals, music that i have heard behind x-games footage has all been instrumental. But, i haven't heard or seen too much x-games stuff.anyone have any insight on this?ThanksMike

Mike,Based on what I'm reading here, it looks like they're expecting vocals on this one. "There are no limits to lyric content, but the tempo should be upbeat and exciting." So that seems to be a good indication (at least to me) of what they want. Plus it doesn't say "INSTRUMENTAL". But, I could be wrong, that's just how I'm interpreting it. Hope this helps.I-468
