Ashlee is the lip syncer (at least the one who got caught)Rock/Pop is not the same as Rock. (It's the pop that gives it away)Although I agree that it's a stretch calling these a'las Pop/Rock, remember the screeners don't right these, the customer does.

What they probably mean is that they want a cheap cover of the Jessica Simpson cover of Robbie Williams and they think by calling it rock/pop that it will make it edgier than pop/rock (I'm apparently rock/pop when they don't know what to call me BTW). Even better, maybe they want you to sound like Amy Winehouse covering Elvis (oh the horror). No wait, I've got it! They want Fergie to go back to her roots on Kids Inc. and do a cover of Martika covering Carole King. HAHAHAHA I feel almost maniacal suggesting such a thing. In this industry, both inside and outside of TAXI, many requests are vague and contradictory. The best way to know if you might be on target is to ignore whether is says pop, pop/rock, etc. and compare your tracks to samples of the artists mentioned. Casey
