"The Kiss Goodbye" (slightly reworked)

Post by davewalton » Mon Jan 07, 2008 9:53 am

I wanted to do something new but didn't have time so I slightly reworked an existing track. Some have probably heard it but I'll throw it out there anyway...www.DaveWaltonMusic.com/MyMusic/TheKissGoodbye.mp3For the "Romantic" listing due today.

Have you added a bit of kick towards the end?

The kick was always there but I remixed things a little so that the rest of the percussion is a little more subtle and (hopefully) better blended with everything else (it was pretty hot, mix-wise, before). As a result of pulling the rest of it back, the kick just came out and I kind of left it like that.

I really like the feel of this one. Since I'm fairly new to this message board, I have not yet heard this before. Very cool arrangement. Rich

Good evening Mr Walton (it is over here anyway!), I really like this track, especially the chord progression / build up at 23 secs. One small criticism though:- Why isn't it on my T.V yet?Good luck!Rachel
