how do "the hills" sound?

Post by gitarrero » Mon Jan 14, 2008 10:02 pm

hi,this listing:***MODERN INSTRUMENTALS a la "The Hills" are needed by a production company who is looking to quickly place songs on a new reality/documentary series which will be aired on the world's largest and most powerful music cable network. This series will revolve around several "twenty-something" girls living the LA life. While instrumentals are preferable, tracks with vocals (male or female) will also be considered. If your track has vocals, you must also have a TV track available - without vocals. All tempos are okay, just need to have a definite hip and youthful vibe - again, think "The Hills".****question: what/which song is meant with "the hills"?I'm european and don't know american tv-series, maybe that's why I don't know "the hills".can anybody help me, e.g. with a hearable example?thanks, martin

Its basically the edgier end of the AC & HOT AC genres. Less John Mayer and more Paolo Nutini.
