What does HOT mean

Does anyone have an interpretation of the word HOT in the following listing? Is it just a way of raising the bar to a certain height, or does it have a specific interpretation?The Publishing Division of an Int'l Management Production Company with tons of hits and cuts [U.S. and International] needs HOT A/C-POP HIT SONGS a la Daniel Powter, James Blunt, Teddy Geiger, etc. to pitch to MALE artists/clients. Incredible hooks/choruses and well-structured songs are essential. Up-tempos are preferred. They're open lyrically, but topics should be within the general realm of the artists listed above. Please submit one to three songs online or per CD/cassette, include lyrics. All submissions will be screened on a YES/NO BASIS ONLY -- NO CRITIQUES FROM TAXI. Also, you can tell by the wording that this is a very "high-bar" listing, so only songs that are truly hit material would get forwarded & it would not pay to waste $5 on anything less. I think most people here know that, but I often see posts on the boards asking why their song did not get forwarded for a particular listing...Good luck to anyone who has a song or songs strong enough to submit!!
