Perhaps a song like "Maybe Next Time" or "It's Only A Game" would've picked up some airplay.

"Don't Blink or You'll Miss It" might even work.

Yeah, seriously, what was the deal with that series? And not only did my song not get played, but I didn't hear anything played besides already popular songs.Guess they decided not to go the indie route...

Welcome to the world of film and tv, where people change their minds daily...at least. I just had a song booted off "Prison Break" at the eleventh hour. It sucks when it happens, but it's something you just have to get used to. When you write for these custom opportunities in particular, you'll miss a lot more often than not, and it's usually nothing to do with the quality of the song. One of the nice "side benefits" of having lots of songs in a number of library catalogs is that you never hear about the misses. Only the hits. Well...almost never...

Yep, definitely a little frustrating! And that does suck about your song getting booted at the last minute. I'm sure it makes up for it when something actually does make it on though Dan

Well I had a different song on the same show two weeks earlier so I can't really complain ...this one stung a bit cause it would've been the first major network placement for the song's co-writer, so I felt more sorry for her than myself... That's life in film and tv land, don't let it get you down...
