Missed deadline?

Post by marcblack30 » Fri Mar 28, 2008 3:13 am

Crazy, I sat here listening to tunes and reading the threads on the dispatch listing for "classic rock covers" and realized late yesterday that I had recorded "take a walk on the wild side", spaced and forgot to submit. DOH!My question is, is it worth a call to TAXI to see if they would accept a late submission, or is it a done deal?thanks, marc

It was a no go for me, explained that mostly because they're working hard to get rid of some of the things that slow down the critique/return process and accepting late submissions was one of those things. It may not be right away but it's very possible that the same listing will appear in the future. These places always need new music and this years music next year will be, well, old to some of these listing clients.

It cant' hurt to call.Dave is right on though, this is the second time this exact listing has come around. I started "Rock You" when the first one came through six months ago, or whenever it was.

I decided not to call, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have accepted it just because I forgot.I have a couple irons in the fire so i'll just be happy with that.thanks,Marc

Looks like you're in luck since the same listing has appeared in the April 1st listings!
