hey there Bill, nice and simple and straightforward of telling a former lover off, I think we've all written this song at one point, its a bit one dimensional but i already had a melody in my head, I see it more as pop rock than country but could be country too!If I were to pick a weak part of the lyric I'd leave the ee sound for the chorus and change the lines where the ee sound is in the verses so I don't get bored of the same soundGood luck!

I have to agree. Though I would really like to hear the tune for this song. If the tune is strong the "ee" repetition won't be so pronounced. Like a girl that has something, body wise, she feels is unattractive and draws your attention to her pretty eyes so your attention is drawn to a part of her body she does have confidence in.I too see this song as more Pop than Country or Rock. Cute song though, kind of simple on the delivery but like the other person wrote, we have all pretty much "written" this song at one point. Thanks for sharing.Jeff
Write it, edit it till you can find nothing else to improve, play it and if people love it, record it.
