To me this really doesn't sound like a verse-pre-chorus form, but a verse-verse-bridge form (aka AABA) with an abbreviated last verse:Verse 1: It's time to start this life I got my plans in order I'm gonna get this right It's got me borderin' on Insanity, I'm almost In my twenties, I've got to Start livin' up... This teenage life Verse 2 My job's a piece a' cheese and Salami stacked up high There's got to be a reason I'm puttin' in this time but It's beatin' me up and down Just wanna make my own sounds Like it's time to start... This teenage lifeBridge: Sometimes I feel like there's Nothin' left to do but to Take out the trash and maybe Tie my baby brother's shoes It's got appeal but Reality is sinkin' in, there's No guarantee so watch me Kick it down and take... Verse3 This teenage life I'll break this teenage life I'll kick it down and make this teenage lifeThis form usually has the hook/title in the first ot last line of the verse, which is the case here, so it seems to fit rather nicely.matto

Nomi mentioned the importance of keeping things as simple as possible for the reader, and I suppose the song's structure is what it is...presenting the lyrics in a different way probably isn't going to affect the listener's perception of it.So, if it's too short then it's too short! I hate when that happens. Andre
