first forward!

Post by jeffgreenleaf » Wed Jul 11, 2007 5:31 pm

My song "Morning Train Blues" was forwarded for the following post: S070614SSA wide range of SINGER/SONGWRITER SONGS are sought by a West Coast-based Management Co. (they rep. a current platinum-selling Rock group) that is starting a new Publishing division...I'm now 1 for 6 in forwards so its a start! The previous returns all got really nice critiques so I feel encouraged by that too.Check it out at:http://www.soundclick.com/jeffgreenleaf ... greenleaf2

I like the song too.I got returned on that although the screener said it was on target and got high marks on everything. The only reason it said it was returned was because the vocals got pitchy a few times. The funny thing is, I submitted 2 songs separately and both songs the screener marked "Vocal does help sell song" AND "Vocal does not help sell song". I hope you don't mind if I mention that your vocals sound like they've been processed through a pitch corrector. If so, what are you using?Nomi

Cool cool cool! I'm right about where you are with TAXI, 1 for 5, starting to get to know what my strengths and weaknesses are and feeling like every new song is a vast improvement over the last one because of what I'm learning.
