3 for 22, yeehaw.

Post by thundercracker » Mon Jul 09, 2007 2:08 pm

3 for 22 in forwards. I guess this isn't the place for me and my rock. My critiques have had very potent advice such as letting the listener know exactly what I'm talking about lyrically, rather than being vague to draw their own conclusions. Also, don't use the F word, that one was helpful. Also, "you might use a distorted bass on that". So, in other words, my songs are being re-written per critique, and never forwarded. 300 bucks down the tubes!

Some of the pros here might be able to help you sort things out.cheersHummin'bird

Quote:300 bucks down the tubes!Dude, I'm 15 for 300. What are ya complaining about anyway? But if you do choose to let us know more about what's going on, you'll likely feel better. And understand more. There must be a forum somewhere, for everyone who quits taxi in a huff. I would tell ya about it, if I knew where one was. I would've already visited a few times... pst:I'll tell ya the secret, write and record music for exactly what the listings actually ask. it can be a lot more difficult than it sounds (pun intended)

I quit TAXI in a huff EVERY single day, but by the end of the day, I decide to join again. 'Tis a vicious cycle.

15 for 300? Hey, Steve, quit bragging, will ya? To get a rough idea of my forward ratio, imagine bar graphs of the populations of Belize and China together on the same chart. I'm Belize.

So I just wanna make sure you're perfectly clear that I wasn't bragging, whatsoever Let's for the moment be content that the term "Ultimate Member" does not represent the number of deals, forwards or cash flow we have accumulated. Perhaps we ought to pretend it refers to the number of things we've learned. Therefore Vikki is the learning CHAMPION! but HJ, you weren't puling my posts were you?

I have not had my lobotomy yet. Uh-oh. Can you recognize that? I don't want you sending any cards up for my family to read to me while I give the famous thousand yard stare right through them. How is the confidence holding up, old stick? In the long run there willl be some turtles who outrun the hares. Bound to be.

Didn't understand the "cards" reference at all. Confidence is fairly high, thx for asking. Back in the day, Bill Cosby used to make jokes about ol Rigermortis catching up on him while he was out joggin. I'll be 47 in 2 weeks. What do you think? Am I a hare or a turtle? I remain a keener.

HEY THUNDERCRACKER,Sebastian here. I am the head screener at TAXI and I would love to help you with your issue. If you would like to call or email me directly my contact info is Sebastian@taxi.com or (800) 458-2111. I would just like to point out that your forward rate is at about 15% right now which is pretty damn good. If you are not happy with the suggestions you're getting we can discuss that, if you simply don't want suggestions you are not obligated to get a critique. You can request a yes or no only. I really hope that you take the 5 minutes to get in touch with me so we can work on getting you what you need.Thanks.
