Hey Mare,Welcome to Taxi. Im not an instrumental music maker but there are loads of people here who are very good at it. Taxi is actually geared a little more towards film/tv oppurtunities and there are always plenty of instrumental listings.Stick around. post this in the peer to peer section and see if you get some feedback from our resident composers. Some of these guys and gals are very successful and can help you alot!Matt

Hey Mare,I like your stuff. Kind of reminds me of Boards of Canada and Stars of the Lid...Nice....My only compliant would be the drum tracks. To my mind they are a little too loud in the mix and too repetitive.....But I do like the overall feel of your music.....As for joining Taxi, you can request them to send the bi monthly listings and see if it fits what you want to do before you join. That way you can see what kind of music is requested...Also you can post your stuff up on the peer to peer section of the forum. That way more people will see it and give feedback...After you get the feedback and review the listings you'll have a better idea as to whether or not to join Taxi...Good luck.Derek

I'm guitar player and programming drums or playing through midi keys are killing me maybe if I buy guitar midi controller I'll be better "drummer" I heard your music (from link below) and your drums are really exciting. Hey Mare,With the drums.....in my earlier stuff I used drum loops and then added "live" drum parts on top using my keyboard...For example assigning kick to A , snare to B toms to C D E etc. As time goes on I use more and more Stylus RMX along with Storm Drums. I set up a basic drum track using RMX groove loops and then build from there using the keyboard to play the main drum part using either elements from RMX and/or sounds from Storm Drums and then maybe combining more loops on top of this I find that in most music it is important to actually play at last some drum parts live so as it sounds more human. I'm still learning though. Derek
