Some music on TV today (Christmas)

Post by davewalton » Thu Dec 25, 2008 1:15 pm

Hi,Just dropping in quickly to make a nuisance of myself by mentioning (modestly of course ) that I had some friends over today for Christmas and while the TV was on, two of my tracks were used in a promo during the Ellen DeGeneres show. It was great to point to the TV with a room full of friends... "Hey! My music!". Turns out people are impressed by the silliest things. Back to our regular Holiday festivities. Dave

Cool, congrats Dave! Some music I did for that "Punk and Indie Rock" project from Big Fish Audio has been playing in the latest national Toyotathon commercial, so I agree that it is fun to hear your stuff playin' on the old tube.Merry Christmas!Dan

Somebody else had it on and I heard the music from the kitchen. Then I *modestly* brought it to everyone's attention.

DaveThat's always exciting news, Dave. Don't be modest about stuff like that. We all want to experience something like that happening to us. How cool to have two tracks - not just one - played! If you managed to be that modest, then I'm ashamed of myself in advance. If/when it happens to me I'll be impossible to live with for... like, ever! Congrats, Dave!Allen

Wow, Dave, that is soooo cool! How many of us just wait for a moment like this, and there you go and have one! I only wish I could have been there too!! Gosh... who knew your Composition in C would go so far! Dec 25, 2008, 3:15pm, davewalton wrote:Turns out people are impressed by the silliest things. I wouldn't call it silly at all. Nope. But a Spectrasonic lawnmower... now that's silly.
