Hey guys,Well, after a ten yr ( self imposed ) exile in the musical abyss, and with much help from the folks at Taxi, and the guys over at JPF, it's time to release a new commercial single. .... nightshift ... and I assume that's THIS mark kaufman from taxi?not bad ... hope the master turns out well. this is certainly a premaster mix that is a bit hard to wrap the ears around but I hear the musical value in the song none the same and it's cool ...btw - breakdown is by far the coolest part of the song - wish it were a lot longer ... a very unique break and great gospel sounds followed by a very spot on melodic lead guitar ...good luck with it.
Gave up guilt when I left the ol' school girl uniform behind. You know, cute little skirts and knee socks, nuns and rulers and all that.

Hey Dave and cj,Thanks fellas ! It's been a long time between drinks, as they say. Yep, that Mix12 isn't so good, quite boomy. The mastering engineer is now up to Master Mix No3, and I think we're done. Better be, it's due for release Mon Dec 1st.Now comes the hard but enjoyable part - marketing, with a constant stream of emails and phone calls. Whoever said this stuff was easy ? LOL. Thanks guys, cheers, niteshift
