May I have 7 minutes of your time!
I have recorded a song called "Jazzy" with my friend, I am playing the following: Piano (Korg)Drums (Ludwig, Zildjian, Paiste and Istanbul)Bass (J&D-Brothers)My friend is playing the congas using LP-percussion. Recorded in my studio and roughly mixed, but you here everything! I don't think I will ever be able to remake this song. I didn't re-record any of the instruments, this is an improvisation. At the end we were playing around with a drum machine. http://orestproductions.com/alexanderorest-jazzy.mp3

I enjoyed the energy in this recording and especially your keyboard skills. What are your plans for this project? Do you plan to balance the various drums in the mix or add any MIDI tracks?-Allen

I will send it to a jazz bar here in Sweden to get a gig. The drums and percussion are only recorded with one microphone (A tube based set to 180). So it's a pretty good one I think. I will record some new jazz inspired songs with my new microphones, but this will take a while I'm afraid. I'm also a classical trained keyboard player, but I love rock and jazz music as well. If you like it, why don't record it? ..and, I have only played the drums for one year. But I love it, and will continue to explore it and learn new things!
