The forum is a great place to hang out... it's populated by quite a collection of characters, mostly that's a good thing. One aspect I really like about it is that, for the most part, egos are left at the door step and it's really a unique environment to share music as well as general advice and experience. We're all good in different ways and your music is no exception. I especially loved the Pendragon trailer. In addition to the music, the whole look and feel of that is really impressive. Anyway, in addition to the various things you already do, Taxi is a great place for submitting music, sometimes to places most of us normally don't have access to. Fun, fun, fun...Dave

Hi Dave!Thank you! It is great to meet you. I took a look at your web site and I really enjoyed listening to your music. My favorite is "Stalker".The forum does seem like a great place to hang out. Thank you for your kind words about Pendragon. I really enjoyed scoring the trailer - it is the first time I had a chance to write something epic-sounding. Yes, I am excited about the opportunities TAXI offers. I think most of us know how hard it is to find jobs and this way we all have a shot. I am also excited about the feedback I will receive through the forum and the submissions. I have learned a lot already just by reading different threads. ~ Lydia

Lydia,Take a look at www.betarecords.com/tony.frissorethere's a mix of electronic/hip hop sounds on there, and i'd be interested to know what you think...if you've never been to betarecords, i recommend it as a good way to get feedback...its a little like myspace, but a bit more user friendly...talk soon...

Tony,Thanks for the link. I really enjoyed listening to your music. I had the volume up real high so I almost fell of my chair when the first piece started but after adjusting the volume everything was fine... I just had to listen to The Grasshopper as I wrote a piece some years ago called Grasshoppers in Egypt. Oh - as opposite as you can get in style... (mine is a twelve-tone piece for flute and oboe) I thought your piece fit the title very well. My favorite is "Ambient Noise". Very nice!~ Lydia

Hi Lydia! Welcome to you, good to see another string player here! I really enjoyed your music on your sites, you are writing very beautiful and visual stuff! I'm sure you will do well here. So far I've written mostly for small acoustic string ensembles, pieces involving improvisation, including for theatre productions (Glass Menagerie, Two Rooms, The Clean House). I'm not set up to do orchestral in a studio, tho have had some pieces played by actual orchestras... Good to have you here!--Mer

Hi Mer,Great to meet you! Isn't it great to hear your pieces performed by real orchestras? I have only had school orchestras play my music so far but I am working on a suite for viola and orchestra that will be performed by the symphony orchestra here in Tulsa in the spring. That will be awesome!!! I looked at your web site and listened to some of your pieces on CD baby. I really enjoyed that. My favorite of the pieces as I was able to listen to was Carma. Lots of energy. ~ Lydia
