Hello Dave, really lovely song and sweet lyrics ! Love it !Great singer on this too...Very soulful and heartfelt ,IMHO Nice arrangement..Like the flute and cello ( I think that's cello ) in latter part . This could be great for a Hallmark card commercial or film/TV use to me....( that was meant as a compliment )Congrats,Mike

Thanks Squids, No that's not me singing, Burnie Stevenson on vocals. I don't have the range, but he sure does.I hope you're great! Thanks Mike,Yes it is a cello, I recorded it with a band called The Reese Project. Yes that would be wonderful if some one would use the song.Dave

Anyway, it sounds GREAT and you've got a SWEET sound happening there, a wonderful complement to those lovely lyrics. I agree with Mike, you should shop this to Hallmark listings. I don't care what anyone says, they always make me cry and this is perfectly touching and would be wonderful for that. (in no way do I mean to offend you, I jes think it would be a great way to get it out there so folks can hear it). LOVE the card idea, btw. I hope someone roun' heah at my place gets the hint......I put this thread in favorites and stuck a post-it note on the bathroom mirror! (what more does he want short of me using a staple gun on his forehead, ack!)Your mom......what an amazing influence she had on you.

Squids, you're wonderful, If you don't get one let me know, and I'll see what I can do! You can't penatrate the Hallmark company with creative ideas, they come back with an unpleasent response from their lawyers.I am hoping that the radio play that it gets, will fall on the ears of someone will put some wings on it.Much love-Dave

Hallmark........wow. They're certainly not what they appear to be on TV, are they? Sheesh. Watch, someone will pick this up, pitch it to them, they'll think it's the bomb and want to sign you to some outrageous amount of money. And of course, being of sound character (as we all are), you'll tell them to stick it. (LOL) NOT REALLY. Take the DEAL!!
