Does anyone other than ONOFFON post on this forum? I would love to hear from other members...give a listen...critique....become a fan? Well.... I am the undisputed king of SSP... But, seriously, the most traffic takes place on the General Hangout board. And then there's the Review Corner, with the Peer to Peer for listening and critiquing, or the Lyric Lovers or TAXI Review Station. Then, the TAXI Success Stories and Forwards for success with listings, or the Screener Shoutouts for thanking a great TAXI critique.And the Giggage board for performances and the Collaboration Corner for those looking to work with others...I think your best bet is the General Hangout for the best interaction in this community...I'll visit your MySpace page and see what's up... Hi Mina:Welcome to Taxi!As Von said most of the activity around here are in the sections he already mentioned.I listened to your tracks and personally the only thing I might suggest is I would bring your vocals up front a wee bit. Yup.........make 'em louder!I haven't been here that long but long enough to know that the screeners can be very picky.Just make sure your submitting to exactly what they are looking for and give it your best shot.So far I've had 10 forwards out of 20 submissions.......Not great but I guess not bad either.....Sort of in between....The forwards feel good but when your tracks aren't on target you feel a bit down when they get returned but you always learn how to better your song crafting process from the experience of the critique.I'm a little all over the map from Mellow.........One In PassingTo not so mellow............FrenzyHere is a collaboration I did over the net years ago.The music by itself for the first 1:38 is what I sent to this artist (had never met her at the time) from Sweden by the name of Lizette.I met her online at MP3.com about 9 years ago.She in turn turned my tracks into a song and added everything else herself.BreatheHere is another clip of her in the song making process......It's tongue in cheek when she calls herself a Diva and she has a good sense of humor. Hey Mina,Welcome aboard! No need to post in so many places though-- I think OFFON was only suggesting a better place, such as General Hangout, for a thread like this one. I'd delete the extra duplicate posts-- otherwise, you'll have threads going in several places at once and some of us simple-minded folks won't know what's up or down. Plus, there's a link to the 100 most recent posts, and you only need one there to get the ball rolling if there's an interest! Enjoy the forum community-- lots of great stuff in here! Raags

Cool music....I can hear this music in film and TV.....look for artist listings, too....but there are very few for what you're doing.... keep an eye out in the instrumental listings for crisis music, or high-octane, and listings like that, which are open to different genres, and looking for the vibe....Quote:Seems to be alot of voyeurism in this forumthis is true, but my guess is your picture is working against you on this...have you ever seen a group of writers? it ain't pretty My take is that were all sort of in the business, so seeing through image is par for the course, and we're interested in helping you with your music....I actually don't post my picture on purpose....and over the years learned to tone down on certain gigs, so people can hear the music easier, and bandmates are less distracted...
