Got some scarey radio play

Post by hummingbird » Fri Oct 26, 2007 5:55 pm

My wierd experimental vocal tapestry, "Frowespell" got played tonight on the 'Halloween Show' on CKRG 89.9 FM Radio Glendon - this is the second year in a row the host, Paul Richards (Zest Radio Show), has included my piece in the line-up. And, I got home just in time to hear it be played!!

Cool Vikki!! And you got to hear it. Did you have A Moment? You know, too cool to get all freaked in public but definitely jumping up and down in private? I know I would. Where can we go to hear it, is there a place online?

Whoa! Really NICE vox! Microslides were long and beautiful (was that an actual owl call in the intro too?). You are so good at the whole action/suspense/horror stuff Vikki. (btw, the whispers were very creepy too, along with the organ walk). *shiver* Excellent!

Don't know if there's much call for it, but I have a lot of fun creating it

Vikki - this is great! It's "feel good spooky" to me. I guess that's my definition for being spooky without making me feel like I'm going to tinkle in my pants...also, don't cut yourself short on it, I think it would be perfect in the background of the show "Goosebumps" (kids show). My ten year old watches it all the time and I can definitely hear your song being perfect for that. Congrats again on your radio play - so proud for you!Tricia
