June 22, 2006 - was privileged to sing the Canadian national anthems ('O Canada' & 'God Save the Queen') at the Investiture of the Order of British Columbia (the province's highest honour for outstanding achievement) at Government House located in BC's capital city, Victoria - in the presence of Lieutenant Governor Iona Camagnolo and BC Premier Gordon Campbell. Past recipients include Bryan Adams (1990), Diana Krall (2000) and Sarah McLachlan (2001). One of the recipients this year was Steve Nash.June 28, 2006 - got word that I'd received a couple of Genre Spotlight awards from Mixposure.com! listen to "SATURN'S AIR""ILLUMINATING ME"

Hi Vikki,Congrats on those items. All of those are really cool. It would have been fun to have been there. As a guy who sits in a little studio away from the public, I can't imagine standing up in front of a crowd like that. One thing I like about your music is that I never know what I'm going to hear. You couldn't draw any conclusions about one track or the other by just listening to one. "Saturn's Air" definitely isn't your standard musical fare. You'd never expect one by listening to the other.Do you have split personalities? Dave
