James Bond Film Theme
I am seeking a strong vocalist to sing on a James Bond film themeproject which we are going to promo.I am loooking for 'interesting' as opposed to bang on technicallyperfect as we have all the studio toys to play with. The Production style is to marry early Bond Film theme sounds( Brass/Orchestral etc) with modern influences. Its written arounda guitar riff I wrote so it does lean slightly to rock and bluesbut there's an awful lot more going in to this track to make it'worldly' ( drums/percussion etc).If your interested please email a raw power vocal ( no backing etc)i am looking for attitude not nice and sweet if that helps.CheersNick Redfordwww.unit58.comemail: nick@unit58.comwww.unit58.com

I believe the good rev is asking if you had a vocal style in mind (a la "Audioslave" or a la "Daughtry"), or if you were open to receiving ("just fishing for") any vocal type.
Earplugs may be required for anyone over the age of cool.

I speak fluent (MOJO) and I can confirm that Dev's translation is correct.Just to reiterate,do you want the singer to sound like Vera Lynn,Tiny Tim, José Carreras or are you not bovvered who or what they sound like as long as they are good.I think it's the latter.

Character and soul is what I am looking for with a 'worldly appeal . If your interested just email a raw vocal - I'll post the lyrics up on this thread - you can just sing it however you like.CheersNickI think it's the latter.

Re: James Bond Film Theme
The only guide I can give as to the Production style is something like John Barry meets U2 - .
