Hi Donald, Ontario and who else might be interested,I'm always looking for new collaborations with experienced lyricists. Feel free to check out my site at www.co-writer.de . If you like what you hear please make use of the "contact form" and submit some information about you along with at least two samples of your work. Currently I'm composing primarily in the field of (New) Country and Singer-Songwriter stuff - not much for R&B, Dance, ...Looking forward to your feedback,Andy

wow, we are the opposite. We have music for days!!!!! We have a bad habit of starting lyrics, maybe getting 1 verse and a Hook done, and moving on. We have the hardest time completing lyrics. We have no trouble coming up with hooks (chorus). It's the verses that wear us out. I think it comes from being too picky. We are mainly in the Urban, R&B Hip Hop market though. We have country song written lyrically and we have the melody. But, the music is kicking our butt on that one because it's so out of genre for us. Don't want it to sound like another genre with a banjo or fiddle added to try and make it sound country.

Andy, et al.I think I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum. I'm an instrumentalist, with melodies that often have a lyrical element / feel. See http://www.myspace.com/jazzstan and see if any of these inspire your muse. I also have a couple of Christmas tunes, that I've started lyrics for, and with which I could use some help.

There's loads of people who write introspective 'deep' contrived nonsense.... but true out and out talented, well crafted and skillful lyricists are almost impossible to find. The likes of Hal David or Paul McCartney come along once in a blue moon.

I dream of finding a good lyricist, but have to agree with above statement, good ones are exceedingly rare
