seeking country co-writer/producer
Would anyone here in Taxiland like to join forces on this upcoming listing S090401CO (a la' Miranda Lambert) ? I'll post the lyric below and I can also provide a good bit of guidance as to the melody and hook as I don't really write just lyrics. I could provide you with a rough work tape to make the job easier also. What I need is someone who can put together a respectable sounding demo for submission through Taxi (it doesn't need to be broadcast quality as this is for an artist listing) . It does need to be guitar heavy w/a strong female vocal in the current country /pop style and compelling as possible as it would be nice to actually get this forwarded. Any splits would be 50/50 Lyrics are always subject to change depending on how it sings out. Shotgun Wedding Gown country/pop uptempo v1 I met you at that honky -tonk You were sittin' on a bar stool Talkin' like a damn fool You think you're all rodeo But you never rode a horse And you ain't no cowboy ch Now I see that you never could be The one I was lookin' for Now it's out I had no doubt You were the one I was lookin' for I can't let you tie me down And I won't end up in a shotgun wedding gown v2 Well you think that you're truck's real nice But then how come It's always breakin' down ? You said we could paint this town But you never got cash And you're credit's maxed out repeat ch bridge I guess this love blinded me Now I need to find in me My piece of mind v3 You think you could be a star but you can't play a lick And you're singin's off-key I won't let you tie me down And I won't end up in a shotgun wedding gown 2009 Paul Gregory If anyone thinks they can get 'er done please drop me a line through this forum. I also have other songs that could use further production. Thanks , Greg
