Need lyrics to match the music...

Post by tedsingingfox » Mon Jul 14, 2008 2:27 pm

Everybody keeps telling me this is totally WASTED as an instrumental.Anybody feel up to giving lyrics for this a try? Me, personally, I'm terrified of trying to write lyrics that I believe to be equal to the beauty/emotional impact of this melody...'cause I ain't that good of a lyricist yet.Although I DO have a name I call this, I don't want to type it in here 'cause I don't want to influence the way you may hear/read the sound and mood of this. Thanks for taking a listen.Tedhttp://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_id=118177&stream=1ps. IF you ARE willing to give it a go, please send me your efforts via PM, please.

I have to say that after listening to this and another more "complex" song of yours recently, you seem to be particularly good with chord progressions. Sometimes I get stuck like "where to go now...". I'm calling you next time when that happens. Your stuff goes in directions that's different but still a little familiar (a good thing) and very melodic. This one in particular. Too bad I can't do lyrics.

Ted my bro, how can you always came up with such beautiful music all the time?! what's the recipe my friend?I thought the music can be both instrumental and a song with lyrics version, I would love to help ..but hey I'm not a lyricist! Wish you all the best for the lyrics adventures, cheers !Ponch

PONCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!What a nice thing for you to say. Thank you, my brother. All I can tell you is that I try to "sing" via the movement of my chord progressions, and then I'll go back later and find what I think is the inherent melody inside it.I doubt that makes much sense, but that's how I attempt to go about it.Bottome line, I'm SO flattered you would make such a comment.I am praying everyday that some way will present itself for you to be able to join us again at the Road Rally this year. But in the meantime, my friend...EAT!!!

Ted,what is the time signature? Maybe im just a little hung over. I was having trouble feeling the bars and measures. If you dont mind, Id like to give this a shot. I thought it was a 3/4 thing but it seems your using a borrowed time signature at the "turnaround". Maybe I need more coffee??
