R&B Collaboration - 'Fire'

Post by supasonicmusic » Wed Mar 05, 2008 3:53 am

Hi There!I'm a commercial writer based in the UK, recently joined Taxi - had one track forwarded & a few pending.I'm working with some signed acts and songwriters/producers.I have a track called 'Fire' - which is an edgey R&B Club track (Rihanna, PCD Vibe).I've received good response and critique from Taxi, however both reviews have said;1) Choruses are strong & catchy, verses could be improved.2) Production is Tight, but sounds dated (although they like the synths & heavy guitar?)3) Vocals need to be more Punchy & attitudeSo I'm looking for someone to collaborate with on this, I have good contacts and believe this is a Hit.Also Looking For a vocalist.Tracks on www.myspace.com/supasonicmusicCONTACT ME if interested.THANKS!

supasonicmusic,I listened to Fire and am sure that my son could turn it out and we could prob beat those vocals also. Problem is, I have to see if he's willing to take on anything else right now. We've been working him pretty hard lately. It must suck for him to be so talented.... . I will let him hear it and if you are still interested in collabing let us know and I'll see what he says.

Hey nice beat, not feeling the lyrics, i hear them on the radio every time i get in the carSo you'd need all the luck in the world making this stand out from the othersThis is way below what Rhianna and PCD would cut (lyric wise)I think you should consider rewriting the chorus around a catchier hook than "fire"Than concentrate on the verses, it'd be a shame to waste an awesome track like this on a weak lyric, maybe i could help, or someone else from here or maybe you like it, either way i wish you the best of luck
