I'm looking for a singer/lyricist to write Chinese (any flavor) lyrics to, and sing, a Chinese pop song. Female would be preferrable but male vocalists will be considered.I need somebody who either resides in Southern California or can work long distance and owns/has access to some kind of recording gear which allows them to make clean vocal recordings, and send them as wav/aiff files. This is for a music library project I'm doing and there is some upfront pay involved, plus the lyricist would get a portion of the writer's share of the song.If anybody reading this fits the description or knows somebody who does, please reply or send me a PM.Thank you!matto

Re: WANTED: Chinese singer/lyricist
Wow, that's a tall order. But glad to see ambitions in this direction. It's not a world marketplace if we don't make it into one. It would be more helpful if you could do a search for a Chinese music forum using Chinese characters. I'm sure there are lots of people in your area on the internet who can do what you ask but they're not using the net in English. Maybe you could use the advanced search function of Google, search for music forums but have it bring back only websites in Chinese. For sure, the websites didn't put their keywords in Chinese ...at least not yet but it's coming. Also, go to China town and ask around and go to a Chinese restaurant. I think what you're asking for is very doable...but you gotta stop thinking like a white person XP
