Looking for female vocalist
I need someone with their own equipment to work over the internet for an extended period of time.ie, you'll need a decent mic, isolation booth and recording software that you know how to use.The ability to give me 10+ takes of the same song so I can pick and choose the best takes. Isolated vocals on their own track, dry and with no effects.I also occasionally need sound bites... random lines that I can drop into certain songs. The kind of music I do is similar to the ones below:http://s93744050.onlinehome.us/WhyMe.mp ... xtest.mp3I also delve into softer ballads such as:http://s93744050.onlinehome.us/mp3/GoodNight.F.mp3The basic way I work is to send MP3's to you so you can learn the songs. Then we collaborate back and forth until we agree on what the song should sound like. Then I'd give you a full .wav stereo copy that you could use to put your vocals to. You'd then send me several takes in .wav format either over the net or by snail mail as CDR's.I match them up to the originals and apply processing etc... then mix the song and release it to various TV/Film publishers, song publishers and record companies. The major thing I'm looking for is someone who realizes that this sort of thing can take time to accomplish. ie, Many months of hard work going over the same songs until they have reached broadcast quality. In some cases the music is used as-is in tv commercials or in compilation, royalty free music libraries. Any money made would be split fairly depending on the amount of work done on your part. ie, vocals, lyrics, harmonies, song writing etc....For my credentials you can type the word "Schmange" into just about any search engine where I have numerous reviews, web pages and examples of my music and CD releases.Last but not least, I'm looking for a seasoned professional who knows what they're doing. Especially where it comes to recording on your own equipment. I've worked with several vocalists in the past who are quite good at the vocal's part, but lack knowledge in proper microphone technique and recording software knowledge...which makes my job extremely difficult when I have to spend time teaching you how to use your own equipment. Many thanks to anybody willing to put in the time and effort on this. I can guarantee making a success of this if you're willing to put in the time and give 110%.Kevin Taylor Schmange Music U.K./Canadaschmange@schmange.comhttp://www.schmange.comhttp://www.guitartricks ... geThursday, October 26, 200612:18:27 PM
