New Taxi member with 2 forwards!
Hey all! Nice to meet you. I have been thinking about it for awhile and I just joined Taxi last month. I submitted for the first time and 2 out of 3 were forwarded! Awesome! The critique of the submission that didn't get forwarded was a very good one too, it made sense to me. I figure even if I go through my entire subscription without any forwards at all, at least I know I am doing everything I can to get the music out there...and am I just really happy that I was able to get 2/3 forwarded on a first attempt. By the way, it's nice to meet you all. Quote:Relaxing, MELODIC INSTRUMENTAL COMPOSITIONS are wanted by an Austrian Production Co. for CD compilations to be used in European Wellness Hotels. He wants smooth, flowing melodic music and mentions 'no jazzy elements, no solo piano or guitar only, no heavy drums and no loud effects.' He said the most preferred lead instruments should be acoustic or soft electric guitar and piano. Their deal includes a non-exclusive license as well as mechanical royalties paid based on the number of units sold. Broadcast Quality needed [great-sounding home recording OK]. Please submit one to three songs per CD/online. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI and must be received no later than Jan. 3, 2007. TAXI # S070103NAThe main reason you were or were not forwarded for this listing is:solid musicianship and pleasant sounds, especially song #1.

Re: New Taxi member with 2 forwards!
Hey, congrats on the forwards and welcome on board! My submission for this listing was rejected. The screener liked the music & production very much (all positions were 8's and 9's) but it was too moody for this particular listing, which I can understand now.I'm new to this kind of music and it usually takes a few shots 'till I got it right;)Have a good time here & happy writing!Martin
