Song signed with a licensing company...January, don't end!
My wife and I were out taking our dog and cat to the vet for their 6 month checkup. This trip is what I picture h#ll to probably be like. In the car, the cat lets out this fire engine type siren out of his mouth....constantly, never lets up! Not a big fan of the crate. Our dog is like somebody told her that she could have 534 dog treats. Like a tornado she is flying around in the back seat (my wife trying to tame the wild shrew, but to no avail) The cat yelps....the dog feeds off that with a whine....lather....rinse...repeat for 20 minutes.
But in the middle of waiting for the vet, I get a nice warm email from a licensing company stating that they would like to sign one of my songs.
I instantly forget about my animal woes and take a deep breath.....January is a darn good month!

Oh - I can relate to the trip with your cat and dog. We just moved from OK to TN and our cat was sounding pretty much like you describe the whole way. (at least we didn't have a cat AND a dog to take care of during the move...)
I hope it went well with the checkups.
Congratulations on the deal!!! That is awesome!
