ROCK METAL INSTRUMENTALS

Post by steveprobst » Mon Jan 11, 2010 11:42 am

Had some fun (again) with this one! First time recording w/ my Dean Elec. through my Logic goodies.

Seems I'm in very good "forwarding" company, as always!

ps So many other forwards to listen to - think the bus is movin' though...can't wait see what everyone else is doing

ROCK METAL INSTRUMENTALS a la the wide variety of AC/DC, Metallica, Velvet Revolver, Korn, Incubus, etc., needed by the President/CEO of a Sports Training Music Website. Tracks can range in tempo from 60 to 145 bpm. INSTRUMENTALS ONLY. He specifically stated that all tracks must be recorded with a steady beat (to a metronome or click). Recording and instrumental demo presentation must be top-notch! The compensation for usage of your music is 0.15 cents per download and an artist profile/link on the site. Broadcast quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine). Please note: We originally ran this as a Dispatch listing #D090923RK and the company wants to hear more. If you submitted to this listing, please send in new material this time around. Please submit one to three instrumentals online or per CD. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI and must be no later than Monday, December 7, 2009. TAXI #S091207ME

that is a cool rock tune. It reminds me of AC/DC, and some old school rock/metal bands.
keep up

Thanks lady & gents!

Though it got forwarded, I got a good critique on it - shorten and/or add additional melodic content to the 2nd A section.

So, being as I wanted to move quickly to the next project, I just shortened 2nd A section. Used this new version for the last week's Classic Rock pitch. :)
