Sometimes it can take a year......

Post by simonrushby » Mon Feb 15, 2010 5:12 pm

Thought I'd post this to keep people's hopes alive! Got an email this week from a company to whom I had a forward in February 2009, offering me a non-exclusive deal on some instrumental music and asking me to send more of the same. I'd completely forgotten about this forward - just goes to show it can take a while!

That's the thing, you keep writing and pitching and eventually it will happen.

CONGRATS!

Congrats Simon......Nice!!!....My record is two years from forward to deal....Patience is definitely a much needed attribute in this game. As others have said....Write....Forward....Forget....repeat... I read an interesting quote in another place that said something like "part of being successful is hanging on after others have let go" or something like that...... Anyway congrats once again......Here's to many more..
