SUBMITTING SONGS

Post by evanmcgill » Thu Feb 18, 2010 5:25 pm

Quick question. If you're submitting a pop SONG for example (Song only, no claims to being the singer), will the studio likely use your instrumental track for the actual artist that records it, or will they redo the whole thing? Thanks!

A music library would use your recording. A demo for an artist would be redone in a studio from the ground up, however that doesn't necessarily mean that your demo shouldn't be the best you can make it to have the best chance of being forwarded.
