BMI CAE Numbers; I have 3 of them?

BMI is my PRO. I logged in tonight and was looking for my CAE number but couldn't find it in the user account area. It's not in the user profile area or any page in the user account area that I could find. So, I logged out and did a search for songwriter/composers with my last name. Lo and behold 3 hits come up with different variations of my name(*) Each of those hits has a different CAE number. The works listed for each of them are mine.

Is this normal/OK to have multiple CAE numbers? I'm filling out a contract with a new publisher, and I'm not sure whic CAE to use. I'm going to send mail to BMI and search around the web for more info on this, but I thought someone on this forum might know the answer.

(*) My first name is Alfred, I go by my middle name of Erich, so I get variations like Alfred E, Alfred, A. Erich etc.

I have three different ones also (David G Walton, David Walton, Dave Walton). They all link to the same account so it doesn't seem to be a problem.

Through ASCAP I tried to get Ludwig Beethoven, Ludwig V. Beethoven and LVB, but they weren't buying it!

It's normal, it happens when you give them more than one variation of your name when you become affiliated.
They are linked so it shouldn't matter which one you provide to publishers etc.

Thanks all, turns out there are 4 AKA's for me on BMI. I signed up with 2 variations on my name. Not sure where the other 2 came from, perhaps some other publishers used different variations of my name when registering cuts. I'm really partial to Alfred E. 'What me worry...?'
