Specific words in listing

When a listing asks for songs about "DESIRE", do they mean a song with the word "DESIRE" featured in the lyrics? Ditto "HAPPY ENDINGS" and "FRIENDSHIP" and "CELEBRATION"?

I have always taken the wording of such listings to refer to the broader subject, not the word itself.
