NEW LISTING -- FUN, BIG BEAT - is that "FUN" or "Fun"?

Post by jdhogg » Wed Mar 03, 2010 5:52 pm

Question

Should this read "Fun" or is "FUN" some style of new music?

NEW LISTING -- FUN, BIG BEAT, ELECTRONICA INSTRUMENTALS a la Fatboy Slim, Chemical Bros, Beck, etc., needed by a successful Music Publisher who's gotten tons of great Film/TV placements for many TAXI members. Performances must be top-notch! They offer a non-exclusive, 50/50 split deal - you keep your original copyrights. Broadcast quality needed (great home recordings are fine). Please submit one to three songs online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a YES/NO BASIS - NO CRITIQUES FROM TAXI - and must be received no later than Thursday, April 8, 2010.

Nope... just "fun", like makes you want to smile and dance. Electronica has enough sub-genres to fill a warehouse so I wouldn't be surprised if FUN turned up to be an Electronica sub-genre someday. :D

I've been working a little on this listing and there are some problems. Fatboy Slim seems to be more traditional drumming with a Hip-Hop feel while Chemical Bros seem to be more trance-like. Both have a bunch of weird synth stuff going on, no problem there cause I DO WEIRD. Thats IDW for Mazz! They both take WAY too long to develop an idea. I can't find anything on Beck to listen to. All I get hits for are Glen Beck and Jeff Beck...Geez...

Yeah fun. You know, like every single person on the planet has the same idea of what fun is. What's the confusion? :)

 Lets not forget the "etc." so I reckon anything "FUN" is forwardable?
