I recommend subscribing to this blog, particularly if you have artist aspirations. (as opposed to artistic aspirations, which would mean you're either a bubble artist or just blowing smoke, heh) These guys really seem to have their act together and they jes' might be some help for yours, too. Here's an article on how to give good interview; they use John Mayer's recent Playboy interview as a bad example, but in my opinion, Mayer didn't hurt himself much, at least a few more people are aware of him that weren't already, since he characterized Jessica Simpson as sexual napalm.
(hey, I knew she was hot stuff...) On the other hand, any interview session you wind up apologizing for probably ain't good.
