Are you on a dialup internet connection? I ask because it's very common for large downloads to fail, if you have a slower connection speed.

you might have to make sure you delete the previous download before trying again. I didn't have any problems downloading Kontact4 player from them, but I had many problems downloading the scarbee p-bass, since it was a purchase it only gave me a few times and I had to email them for more chances. I believe on the 5th time or so it finally worked. It was a huge download and even with hispeed internet it took about 8hrs to download and then was corrupted so many times. I forgot now what it was they recommended I get for a download manager, which didn't make any difference by the way, it finally went though on it's own on about the 5th try. If I remember correctly, the download price and the cd were the same price, and I would definitely recommend a cd purchase for anyone purchasing a large program from them. You would probably get it in the mail before you ever get the thing downloaded.

I've had a similar problem with another programme from NI. I asked NI what to do, and they told me to get a download programme (a "Download Manager", I think they called it). So I solved the problem by using http://www.downthemall.net/ to download the programme.

Not sure why it works, but it did. This is for Firefox, but if you are using IE there should be similar applications..

I'll add that while most of my NI downloads were relatively painless, a download manager couldn't hurt.

It's a file tree, jes' double-click on it to go up a level, you should see four or five folders with different categories of instruments.

Time to contact tech support, methinks. I'm pretty sure you need to be connected to the internet for Native Instruments stuff to authorize; you also need to have Native Instruments Service Center installed.
