instrumental lullaby question

Post by cmk » Fri Mar 19, 2010 8:31 am

Hello, I'm a newbie so this is probably a stupid question, sorry! The listing asking for renditions of classic to modern songs for instrumental lullabies - do I need to get permission for the song I want to arrange before submitting? The listing is S100405IN. Thanks.

If your song is forwarded and picked, the publisher will acquire the permissions.

imagine if John Williams and Trent Reznor met at Bernard Hermann's for lunch and Brian Eno was the head chef!

Maybe I am looking at a different listing, but doesn't it say they want to see all original music - and not to send in covers?

Yup - my fault. I was looking at the wrong listing.
