Hi,
I will be joining Taxi very shortly and I was wondering if any of my songs might fit these listings.
GOSPEL/PRAISE/WORSHIP a la, Chris Tomlin, Darlene Zschech, etc needed by a Major Nashville Praise and Worship Music Publishing company. They want original songs that have a grassroots following - meaning not songs that have been played just at one service, but songs that have been performed successfully at your church and several others - one that's been 'road tested' and has proven appeal. Songs must have more than repeated lines and verses, they want to hear something that will lead the group into worship and move the entire congregation into a strong feeling (whether it be repentance, joy, etc.) Vocal and instrumental demo presentations must effectively put across the essence of your song! Please submit one to three songs online or per CD, include lyrics. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by Taxi and must be received no later than Monday, April 19, 2010
* As you can see, I have a very short time to submit to this one if I do
* I am considering submitting "Jesus Be Revealed In Me." We have sung this a few times at my church and others, many people have commented that they like the song.
* I am also excited to see what kind of critique Taxi would give me for the song
GOSPEL SONGS needed by an Independent Music Consultant who pitches to Major Artists/Bands. Style may range from Urban, Contemporary, Traditional, Worship, etc. Choir or solo performances are acceptable. Lyrics may also range, but must be appropriate for radio. Male or female vocals are okay. Vocal and instrumental demo presentation must be top-notch! Please submit one to three songs online or per CD, include lyrics. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by Taxi and must be received no later than Thursday, April 22, 2010.
*I am considering to submit "Jesus Be Revealed In Me" and "Jesus Heals Every Pain" to this listing.
Let me know if you think any of my 2 songs might go through and thanks for your time.

Re: Gospel Listing Question
Dtrain, I've heard these songs of yours before on another post, and commented there already. I don't have a clue when it comes to gospel songs, I certainly am not going to guess the screeners actions. I'll just say that if you are really truly ready and serious with your music and are willing to go the next step, and are open to suggestions to make your music your best, I would join and submit them. The feedback and critiques will be more genuine and professional than you will get anywhere else. I am sure these will not be the only two opportunities you will have for these songs, so I don't see any reason to be in a hurry. I'm not saying these songs will be returned or rejected, they may be forwarded
and later on somewhere you might be rejected, lol, but you will be rejected somewhere along the way and if that is not going to discourage you, you are ready to move forward. It will sometimes certainly test your faith with the song, "Jesus Heals Every Pain"!
It's only $15 past the price of admission, and the feedback is worth that.
