Welcome to the forums. Its been almost 2 months since I joined Taxi & this forum so Im pretty much still new around here too.

I checked out a few songs on your hosting page and was really impressed. They sound very current. My favourite songs were 'Contagious' and 'Do You Better,' very cool stuff man .

But I must say, you're not gonna get much response to your thread cause people usually don't wanna listen to EVERY song that a member has. Its better to select just one song and then ask the forum what they think about it. Just a tiny advice.

Listened to self control. It sounded pretty good, I just don't know enough about this genre to really help. Maybe some hip hopper will chime in here. In the future try to present one song and the lyrics. I know you're anxious to get some feedback, but it's a bit of a strain on this community to focus on more than one piece at a time. good luck

Nope, no placements yet. But Im still hopeful. I think you will definately find placements with the songs you write, they're very current.

I've been working on a new song. Im waiting to get some feedback on it from the forum. If u have time, I would appreciate it if you checked it out and gave me some advice. It's subject title on Peer to Peer is "Urgent feedback needed for pop/dance song." Im trying to get it in shape as much as possible before I send it to a listing.

Hi Evil Penz,

I had a listen to the tracks you suggested.

I think the sound is very current I can see it being played on the Radio very pop/r&B.

Not overly keen on the vocorder vocal effect but thats my taste I'm sure.

All is all well produced.

I listened to "Losing It". You've got a great voice, and i also like the production. I liked the piece up until about the three minute mark. Then I liked what came after, but it felt like a different song, for some reason . . . it's as if you got the message and the song across in the first three minutes, but then just kept going . . . you're obviously very talented, so don't take this as a slam, it's not.
one other helpful thing you might conssider doing: post your lyrics. It helps those of us who actually respond if we can see the structure of the song as well as hear it. welcome, I think you're going to be very successful.

I think Contagious is a great track! I really enjoyed the others I sampled as well.

My suggestion is: The next time you are considering submitting a song to a listing, post the listing text and a link to the song and ask for feedback. Also, include lyrics in the post. Others can't see the lyrics on your taxi page (except screeners). You'll get feedback as to how the song fits the listing as well as a lot of general input.

As mentioned, ask for a review of one song at a time and people will be more likely to respond.
