Orange Tree Samples

Post by joshpaul24 » Mon May 31, 2010 1:56 pm

Thought I would post this news for everybody. Orange Tree Samples is having a group buy sale for their amazing sample libraries. They extended it for another week so it might be worth checking out. I have the Core Strawberry Electric Guitar and Core Cherry Electric Bass. They are very easy to play sample libraries and are offered at a good value.

Check out their site: http://www.orangetreesamples.com/groupbuy2010

Good luck! Hope this was useful info.

-Josh

P.S. I posted this in the general hangout too.

This looks like it's an incredible tool and one I've been looking for for my string library in order to use banks with keyswitches!

Thanks for the link.

Glad it was helpful! Their site has been down so I hope everyone else who might be interested tries their site again. It appears to be back up.

Thanks for posting this Josh, I had kinda forgotten about this guy since I don't hang out on kvr much anymore...very impressive stuff he's been up to lately, might have to pick up a thing or three... ;)

He also seems like a super nice small developer and I love small developers with great instruments... 8-)

I'm playing with the "Mind Control" script right now and I'm really excited because it's EXACTLY what I was hoping for to use with LA Scoring Strings and other libraries that put the different articulations in different Kontakt instruments. Now I can create a bank with different articulations loaded and can switch between them with keyswitches!! This is huge!

You can also set up velocity switches, controller switches, etc. It's a really great little tool and totally worth the 15 bucks!!

Woo Hoo!! :D :D

Anybody know offhand if the full version of Kontakt is required for Pear Bass?

I got the guitar and kalimba. Neither came with a player. I'm betting you need full kontakt but you might write them to find out for sure.

Mojobone - I believe the full version of Kontakt is needed. I agree with Mazz - email them to make sure. They're very responsive.

That would actually make Trillian the cheaper option.

Just a heads up, it has been extended one more week and everybody who makes a purchase during the duration of the GB receives a $40 off coupon toward their upcoming acoustic guitar... 8-)
