Wooohooo!! That is fantastic!! I really didn't think it would be possible.. & that would save lots of trouble of having loads of iLok dongles all over the place =)
Thanks Mazz..

It is always good to go to www.ilok.com and make sure you remember your password, and also to install any updates, before you get something. In my experience everytime I get a new software that uses ilok, I have to install some new updates before it allows me to download my license. Don't use google chrome!! Use either firefox or explorer.

After you register your software, they will send your license to ilok, and when you go to ilok it will have new licenses to download button.

Might wanna keep in mind that you can also lose tons of authorizations on a single iLok, heh. Wasn't it Milfus who sat on one and couldn't work for two weeks? Though, on the whole, it's probably better than a lot of other anti-piracy schemes, particularly when they require you to go online and expose your Windows machine to a virus. :D

You can buy Zero Downtime protection from iLok. I've never had to use it, fortunately, but it's there in case you lose your iLok or your dog chews it up, or whatever. It's not that expensive, either. It's much cheaper than the lost time and money recovering those authorizations!

I have Melodyne and EWQLSO on iLok.. can you run two programmes at the same time from one iLok dongle, say EWQLSO and Ethno 2?

Magne, yes you can run all the programs at the same time from one ilok dongle, how many you can run is only dependent on how powerful your computer is or how many licenses you can store on one dongle.

When my DAW (Digital Performer) boots up, it goes through all the plugins and checks if they're valid. One of the things it checks is to see if the plug in's registrations are valid. Every once in a while, the hub that contains my iLok doesn't start up, and DP will report an error specific to that plug in. So yes, once the system recognizes that the plugins have been registered via the iLok, you can use however many at one time.

I have 2 iloks that I distribute licenses across. That way if one goes down, I can still operate 50% of my software. Come of the Plugins like WAVES are NOT covered by the zero downtime.

Also, as for Motu ETHNO, I have been using it for a few years since it came out and i recently upgraded to 2.0 It's definitely worth owning, just for percussion sounds and loop alone!!!
