vibrato in kontakt 4
does anyone know how to add vibrato to an instrument such as woodwinds or brass, in kontakt 4. some instruments have abuilt in vibrato and some do not. i cant seem to get an answer from the NI forum. thanks for any help. rick ranum

You can set up an lfo to modulate pitch and control it from the mod wheel (the most common assignment but not the only option).
Find a patch that's already set up like this and copy the settings to the patch you are wanting to add vibrato to. I'm sure this info is in the manual as well.

Mazz is correct, but just as a heads up an LFO vibrato applied to a non-vibrato brass/ww sample is not likely to sound particularly realistic.
IMHO it's usaully preferrable to use a patch with sampled vibrato despite the associated limitations (i.e. no control over depth, speed etc.).
Most sample libraries have vibrato and non vibrato samples on woodwinds. Vibrato samples are less common in orchestral brass since classical brass players tend to use little or no vibrato.

Doesn't Melodyne or somebody have vibrato/tremolo cloning tools?
